Welcome Home
Mar. 25th, 2018 01:38 pmWELCOME TO THE HOARD

- Or as the locals affectionately call it, Home. Home is under the protection of Dhri, one of Bahumat's Golden Wyrms. Dhri protects Home as if it was her own, because it is. Home is Dhri's hoard, and you are her treasure. Dhri collects the misshaped and the misfortuned peoples of the multiverse who don't fit in, who are persecuted, who are hated upon. She gives them a place to call Home, a safe place. For the more adventerous members of the community, she will normally send them off on adventure errands. Usually as scouts to find people to bring home safely, though lately something more sinister is brewing. . .
Character Creation
1. All WotC official races, classes, and subclasses are welcome. Stats or standard array or rolls. ( 4d6, 7 times. You drop the lowest die, and the lowest stat.)
2. Some homebrew races will be approved upon DM review. They will be listed as a player race with a link once approval is met.
3. Your every day Human, Dwarf, and Elf are not discouraged from being created, but know that they're usually visitors to Home and will not be staying.
4. Lycanthropes, both natural born and cursed are welcome and encouraged. Use the Monster Manuel for your lycanthropes stat boost. If you wish to be a werecreature that isn't listed in the Monster Manuel, consult your GM. You are allowed your multiattack ability in Hybrid and Animal Form. You are RESISTANT to non magical and silver weapons, and vulnerable to silvered weapons.
5.) Multiclass is allowed. As long as you meet the requirements in the PHP
6.) Evil Characters are not welcome to live in Home, ever. No character race is bounded towards an evil alignment. Some exceptions for RP reasons can be made, but you have to consult your DM first.
7.) Character levels will be determined by the adventure CR called by the DM. Players who are playing in more than one different leveled adventure are welcome to make multiple characters. Sometimes characters will level at the DMs discretion if the player is attached to their character.
8.) When adventures are announced an amount of five characters will be allowed. Players are allowed to play in multiple adventures, and some adventures will be made for a particular group if called for. Just remember this is meant to be for the entire channel, so if you've played in the Lvl 3 adventure and a Lvl 5 adventure is announced, please allow for different players to fill those spots before you take it.
9.) Sometimes adventures can cross multiple sessions. And adventures are likely to be anywhere between 1-3 sessions.
10.) When creating your character think about their relationship to Home. Are they a visitor. Were they born here? Have they ever been outside of the village? Were they brought here by a scout or Dhri herself? Paladins and Clerics born and raised in the village are likely to be servants of Bahamut. If you are born and raised here, you also are proficient in Draconic.
11: Text based down time roleplay is encouraged in Home and out of Home.

OOC: RULES
1.) "Don't be a dick. Be yourself. Follow the instructions of the GM while in game. Do your part to make the game a great experience for everyone." Follow the basic rules of the channel.
2.) Remember that OOC =/= IC. Your character is not you. Your character motivations are not your motivations. The emotional emotions and feelings your character has for another character is not the emotional emotions for the other players. IC actions should never carry the weight of an OOC grudge. If you're having problems OOC, talk to the DM/Admins to work out a solutions.
3.) If you wish for certain content to not happen to your character, please communicate that. Sexual violence will not be allowed, period. Other adult themes will be allowed but never without warning or discussion.
4.) If you don't want your character or NPCs related to your PC, used as plot devices when they're not in play, communicate with that with the DM. Other players are not allowed to control other characters without permission from both the player and DM.
